Easter Camp Success

Apr 29, 2014

The county organised an inaugural Easter camogie camp in Edendork over three days aided by coaches from Ulster council.

There were over 35 kids in attendance and the girls all acquired new skills to take into their game. There were a lot of fun games and each day prizes were awarded for the various age groups. The girls received top class coaching from Ger, Laura, Mickey Gribben and Áine Donnelly. Everyone received a camogie t-shirt, water bottle and boot bag. As the camp was such a success it is hoped that a summer camp can be organised over the holiday period.

We would like to thank Tyrone camogie and Pete Doherty and Bríd Devlin for preparing the premises for the camp and Camogie Development Officer Leona Gallagher for organising such a fantastic event.

The kids thoroughly enjoyed it!
