Intermediate Glory for Edendork Camogs
Edendork are Tyrone Intermediate Camogie champions! On a brilliant Saturday afternoon at Father Peter Campbell Park, our camogs lifted the Pitrina Robinson Cup with a 3-11 to 2-7 victory over a battling Brocagh side.
The girls in green and gold flew out of the traps, with goals from Áine Nelis and Catherine Moohan helping to build a commanding 2-7 to 0-4 lead by half-time, with Bronagh Moohan and Eva Cullen among the points.
Brocagh, to their credit, refused to lie down. Goals from Roisín O'Neill McKee and Aoife Quinn cut the gap to five and set up a nervy finish in front of a huge crowd. But just when it mattered most, Bronagh Moohan delivered — her late strike finding the net to seal the title and spark joyous scenes among the Edendork faithful.
This win is the reward for months of hard work by the players and management, and years of dedication from all involved in camogie in the club. Well done to every player who wore the jersey this year.
Champions of Tyrone — enjoy it, girls. Edendork abú!
